PolyNew to host audit and tax investigation seminar

PolyNew Training Services is set to host the Audit and Tax Investigations Botswana (TIB) Seminar between 13 and 14 March in the capital, with the aim of equipping professionals with essential skills and knowledge in tax audits, fraud detection and investigative processes.

PolyNew Training Services is a training institution accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) and the Human Resources Development Council of Botswana (HRDC).

According to PolyNew, the programme will provide practical insights into managing tax compliance, mitigating legal risks and understanding the critical stages of tax crime investigations. Over two days, professionals undertaking this refresher course will be empowered with essential skills and knowledge in tax audits, fraud detection and investigative processes. 

Participants will also learn how to conduct effective tax audits and investigations, as well as gaining an understanding of key principles in tax fraud detection and prevention, among others.

The programme is expected to attract tax professionals, auditors and advisors, entrepreneurs, business owners, legal counsels and financial analysts, among others. 

The two-day event will feature interactive sessions, including expert-led discussions, case studies and group activities. Participants will earn 16 CPD hours to enhance their professional credentials.
