Bolokwe succeeds Tsheole as BSE Interim CEO
  • Sharon Molefe

The Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced the appointment of Kopano Bolokwe as its Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis effective 01 May 2024.

Bolokwe, who serves the BSE as its Head of Product Development, succeeds outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Thapelo Tsheole, who has held the role since January 2016 and departs the BSE this month.

Confirming the appointment, the BSE Board expressed its confidence in Kopano to lead the entity during this period.

“We look forward to his leadership in continuing to enhance the BSE’s value proposition to our stakeholders and the global investment community,” the Board said.
